IES is reaching out to practitioners and policy leaders for their guidance on how best to support their work through the 10 nationwide Regional Educational Laboratories. John Q. Easton outlined ambitious goals for the Institute of Education Sciences after being sworn in as director by Secretary of Education Arne Duncan during an Oct. 5 ceremony.
